Left-hand traffic with a 35 mph island maximum. Lanes are extremely narrow with high banks - "Ruettes Tranquilles" are shared-priority lanes where pedestrians and cyclists come first and the limit is 15 mph. Filter-in-turn junctions are a local convention worth understanding.
