Tolls
An electronic motorway vignette (e-matrica) registered to the plate is mandatory, with a 10-day option around €13. There are no booths - buy it before joining the motorway.

Child seats
Mandatory under 135 cm.
Zero tolerance on alcohol is absolute and enforced with frequent roadside checks. The e-vignette has no grace period and camera enforcement is comprehensive - buying it after you have joined the motorway does not help.
